Each extra overtime is 1 minute with no timeout.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">A player fouls out on his 5th personal foul.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">A team reaches a double bonus on the 10th team foul of each half. There are no one and ones.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">The team listed on the left and top of the bracket is home and wears light color. Bring both colors to the game in case a team does not have extra uniforms.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Two technical fouls will result in automatic ejection from the game. ANY fighting including but not limited to Coaches, Players, and Spectators will result in IMMEDIATE and FINAL expulsion from the tournament.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">2<sup>nd<\/sup> \u2013 6<sup>th<\/sup> Grade boys teams will use a 28.5\u201d ball. All others use regular size balls.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Seeding from each pool will be determined by the win-loss record in pool play. In the case of ties, head-to-head competition determines seed. If 3 teams are tied, a point system comes into effect to determine the 1, 2, and 3 seeds of the pool. There is a maximum of +15 for a win in the pool and \u201315 for a loss in the pool. All games in the pool are included in the figuring point system. In case the 3 teams are still tied, the least total points allowed in pool play will determine the higher seed. In case there is still a tie, a coin toss will determine seeding. In case of disputes, the Tournament Director\u2019s decision is final.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>At the end of pool play, check brackets on the website for seeding and updates as you might play within a few hours. In case of changes, the brackets at Headquarters are final and official. Please check with the gym you are playing in to verify any bracket times and locations. You are responsible for knowing where and when your team plays. You can always ask the Site Director to check for you at the gym where you finish pool play. You can always come to Headquarters after your pool games or look on the website to verify where your bracket games are starting. If you do not arrive at your scheduled bracket game on time, it might be a forfeit. <\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">During the game, if a team is ahead by 20 or more points the clock will not stop until a team gets the difference in score to 15pts, even on free throws.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section><section class=\"l-section wpb_row height_medium\"><div class=\"l-section-h i-cf\"><div class=\"g-cols vc_row via_grid cols_1 laptops-cols_inherit tablets-cols_inherit mobiles-cols_1 valign_top type_default stacking_default\"><div class=\"wpb_column vc_column_container\"><div class=\"vc_column-inner\"><div class=\"wpb_text_column\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><h3><strong>Age\/Grade\/Division Rules<\/strong><\/h3>\n<\/div><\/div><div class=\"g-cols wpb_row via_grid cols_1 laptops-cols_inherit tablets-cols_inherit mobiles-cols_1 valign_top type_default stacking_default\" style=\"--columns-gap:3rem;\"><div class=\"wpb_column vc_column_container us_custom_db3c233b has_bg_color\"><div class=\"vc_column-inner\"><div class=\"wpb_text_column\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><ol>\n<li>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong><em>For all teams \u2013 Each team has to be verified through <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nationalsportsid.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">National Sports ID<\/a> (NSID). Bring a copy of your NSID roster for all of your players with you to the tournament. This is important. \u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/span>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">During tournament play, a player can participate in a maximum of two age\/grade divisions and a maximum of two teams per tournament, as long as they meet the age\/grade requirements for both divisions and are within the same organization (except when noted below). They cannot play on two teams in the same age\/grade division.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">For all divisions (8U through 17U\/Varsity), all players participating in bracket play must have participated in at least one of the team\u2019s pool games.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>Age\/Grade Qualifications by Division: <\/strong>Ages are based on the players\u2019 grades during the 2021-2022 school year. Age determining date is August 31, 2022.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>8U\/2<sup>nd<\/sup> Grade<\/strong>: Players must be in the 2<sup>nd<\/sup> grade or below as of October 1, 2021, and can be no older than 9 on or before August 31, 2022.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>9U\/3rd Grade: <\/strong>Players must be in the 3<sup>rd<\/sup> grade or below as of October 1, 2021, and can be no older than 10 on or before August 31, 2022.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>10U\/4th Grade: <\/strong>Players must be in the 4<sup>th<\/sup> grade or below as of October 1, 2021, and can be no older than 11 on or before August 31, 2022.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>11U\/5th Grade: <\/strong>Players must be in the 5<sup>th<\/sup> grade or below as of October 1, 2021, and can be no older than 12 on or before August 31, 2022.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>12U\/6th Division: <\/strong>Players must be in the 6<sup>th<\/sup> grade or below as of October 1, 2021, and can be no older than 13 on or before August 31, 2022.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>13U\/7th Grade: <\/strong>Players must be in the 7<sup>th<\/sup> grade or below as of October 1, 2021, and can be no older than 14 on or before August 31, 2022.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>14U\/8th Grade: <\/strong>Players must be in the 8<sup>th<\/sup> grade or below as of October 1, 2021, and can be no older than 15 on or before August 31, 2022.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>15U\/9th Grade: <\/strong>Players can be no older than 15 on or before August 31, 2022. Grade Policy: Players must be in the 9<sup>th<\/sup> grade as of October 1, 2021, and can be no older than 16 on or before August 31, 2022.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>16U\/10th Grade: <\/strong>Players can be no older than 16 on or before August 31, 2022. Grade Policy: Players must be in the 10<sup>th<\/sup> grade as of October 1, 2021, and can be no older than 17 on or before August 31, 2022.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>17U\/11<sup>th<\/sup> Grade: <\/strong>Players can be no older than 17 on or before August 31, 2022. Grade Policy: Players must be in the 11<sup>th<\/sup> grade as of October 1, 2021, and can be no older than 18 on or before August 31, 2022.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>NOTE<\/strong>: A player cannot play with different teams that are in the same grade\/level as the player\u2019s original (registered) team. A player can play above and\/or below a level with a different team as long as they are age and grade qualified.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section><section class=\"l-section wpb_row height_medium\"><div class=\"l-section-h i-cf\"><div class=\"g-cols vc_row via_grid cols_1 laptops-cols_inherit tablets-cols_inherit mobiles-cols_1 valign_top type_default stacking_default\"><div class=\"wpb_column vc_column_container\"><div class=\"vc_column-inner\"><div class=\"wpb_text_column\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><h3><strong>PENALTIES<\/strong><\/h3>\n<\/div><\/div><div class=\"g-cols wpb_row via_grid cols_1 laptops-cols_inherit tablets-cols_inherit mobiles-cols_1 valign_top type_default stacking_default\" style=\"--columns-gap:3rem;\"><div class=\"wpb_column vc_column_container us_custom_db3c233b has_bg_color\"><div class=\"vc_column-inner\"><div class=\"wpb_text_column\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">If a player is found to be in violation of the rules above after an event has started, you will need to report to Headquarters after reporting the situation to the Tournament Director for an official ruling on the penalty to be assessed &#8211; up to and including possible expulsion from the tournament. However:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">If any team or player violates any of the above rules, those games where the rules were violated will be deemed as a 15-0 loss. If a game has already taken place in bracket play and the above rules are broken, that team will be eliminated.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Any player who is associated with breaking the above rules will have to sit for at least one game. If a player is found to be over age, they cannot play in that age group. If they have been found to play illegally on two teams and are the correct age, they must sit at least one game and then play only on one team for the remainder of the tournament.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">If the tournament has progressed and a team forfeits per the breaking of a rule, the Tournament Director will decide the progression of another team advancing.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">For ejection, due to fighting, there is no alternative to being removed from the tournament.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong><em>The Tournament Director will have the final say regarding any disputes. <\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong><em>This tournament is for the kids\u2014let\u2019s always keep that in mind.<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section><section class=\"l-section wpb_row height_medium\"><div class=\"l-section-h i-cf\"><div class=\"g-cols vc_row via_grid cols_1 laptops-cols_inherit tablets-cols_inherit mobiles-cols_1 valign_top type_default stacking_default\"><div class=\"wpb_column vc_column_container\"><div class=\"vc_column-inner\"><div class=\"wpb_text_column\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><h3><strong>CODE OF CONDUCT<\/strong><\/h3>\n<\/div><\/div><div class=\"g-cols wpb_row via_grid cols_1 laptops-cols_inherit tablets-cols_inherit mobiles-cols_1 valign_top type_default stacking_default\" style=\"--columns-gap:3rem;\"><div class=\"wpb_column vc_column_container us_custom_db3c233b has_bg_color\"><div class=\"vc_column-inner\"><div class=\"wpb_text_column\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">There will be no cursing, unsportsmanlike conduct, foul language, physical violence, or berating of fans, players, or officials. These acts will not be tolerated. The game is for the kids. Maintain a positive atmosphere\u2014win or lose. Anyone breaking this rule faces a technical foul for their team and possible ejection and suspension from the tournament.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Casual Profanity \u2013 Casual profanity pertains to expletives and verbal unsportsmanlike language not necessarily directed at officials or opposing players but is uttered by a player out of frustration. This type of behavior may be penalized by a technical foul against the offending player.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Foul language will not be tolerated by players, coaches, parents\/guardians, and\/or spectators. An automatic technical foul will be assessed if a player or coach uses foul language. A second violation in a game will result in ejection and a possible one or more game suspension. Any spectator or parent using foul language will be issued a warning and possible ejection from the game and\/or tournament.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Any coach, player, or spectator ejected for fighting will be suspended from participating in or watching the remainder of the tournament.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">No smoking or alcoholic beverages are permitted at any site.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">No bouncing of balls in the school hallways is permitted.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Anyone defacing or damaging the property of the school whether before, during, or after the game will be automatically suspended from the tournament and held liable for all costs.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">If anyone believes the rules are being violated by any player, coach, parent, or spectator they may contact the Site Director. The Site Director will investigate all complaints received and will take appropriate action, which could include suspension or expulsion from the tournament.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Please keep all young children from running through the schools or facilities.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">\u2022 Please keep all cheering in a positive manner and show good sportsmanship.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section><section class=\"l-section wpb_row height_medium\"><div class=\"l-section-h i-cf\"><div class=\"g-cols vc_row via_grid cols_1 laptops-cols_inherit tablets-cols_inherit mobiles-cols_1 valign_top type_default stacking_default\"><div class=\"wpb_column vc_column_container\"><div class=\"vc_column-inner\"><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Tournament Rules Rules of Play Normal high school rules with stop clock on all dead balls.
