Franklin Lakes Travel Basketball is very proud to announce a partnership with National Sports ID to help maintain the integrity of our basketball league. National Sports ID is an online service that verifies the age/grade of youth athletes by providing approved Sports ID Cards as well as digital processes for players and coaches to submit documentation and e-signing waivers.
PLEASE take 10-15 minutes to register a parent account, add your child and get him or her verified. The NSID customer service team is on call to assist you and all your players through the simple process.
The Sports ID card is valid for 365 days from the date it is approved and can be used across all sports leagues and tournaments that require it. Once you get your child verified, you are eligible to participate in the Franklin Lakes Travel Basketball Program.
Please follow the steps below to get started with registering your account, creating your team and inviting your players to get verified. Remember there is LIVE HELP in the right-hand corner of the National Sports ID website to assist you and your players.

- Clear headshot photo of your child(s)
- Athletes’ birth certificate, passport, or state id.
- Athlete’s report card, or school document.
What I need to get coach verified?
- Mobile, laptop, or desktop device.
- A coach account in NSID.
- Clear headshot photo of yourself
- Upload: (Drivers license, Rutgers Card & Code of Conduct)
- E-Sign: (Handbook, Protect Children, Code of Conduct and Liability)
