All teams that participate in John Lucas All-Star Weekend are age verified!

We at John Lucas Enterprises are very proud to announce a partnership with National Sports ID to help maintain the integrity of our players, teams, and tournaments. National Sports ID is an online service that verifies the age/grade of youth athletes by providing approved Sports ID Cards.

Players that have a verified sports ID do not have to worry about bringing age or grade documents to event. Once your team is verified all the players will be eligible to participate in all John Lucas events  

Please follow the steps below to get started with registering your account, creating your team and inviting your players to get verified. Remember there is LIVE HELP in the left-hand corner of the National Sports ID website to assist you and your players.

  • No more carrying player documents to events.
  • No more waiting on long lines to check players/teams in.
  • Automatically send, get e-signed and collect waivers.

PLAYER ELIGIBILITY RULES FOR

2023 JOHN LUCAS ALL-STAR WEEKEND

The John Lucas All-Star Weekend tournament is a grade-based organization.

In order to compete in John Lucas All-Stat Weekend, ALL players and teams must be verified by National Sports ID using the NSID verification process.

Grade/age eligibility requirements apply.

2ND GRADE DIVISION

An athlete must be in the 2nd grade as of October 1, 2022, and can be no older than 9 on August 31, 2023.

For an athlete that is in the 3rd grade as of October 1, 2022, wanting to play down, they can be no older than 8 on August 31, 2023.

 

3RD GRADE DIVISION

An athlete must be in the 3rd grade as of October 1, 2022, and can be no older than 10 on August 31, 2023.

For an athlete that is in the 4th grade as of October 1, 2022, wanting to play down, they can be no older than 9 on August 31, 2023.

 

4TH GRADE DIVISION

An athlete must be in the 4th grade as of October 1, 2022, and can be no older than 11 on August 31, 2023.

For an athlete that is in the 5th grade as of October 1, 2022, wanting to play down, they can be no older than 10 on August 31, 2023.

 

5TH GRADE DIVISION

An athlete must be in the 5th grade as of October 1, 2022, and can be no older than 12 on August 31, 2023.

For an athlete that is in the 6th grade as of October 1, 2022, wanting to play down, they can be no older than 11 on August 31, 2023.

 

6TH GRADE DIVISION

An athlete must be in the 6th grade as of October 1, 2022, and can be no older than 13 on August 31, 2023.

For an athlete that is in the 7th grade as of October 1, 2022, wanting to play down, they can be no older than 12 on August 31, 2023.

 

7TH GRADE DIVISION

An athlete must be in the 7th grade as of October 1, 2022, and can be no older than 14 on August 31, 2023.

For an athlete that is in the 8th grade as of October 1, 2022, wanting to play down, they can be no older than 13 on August 31, 2023.

Steps to Get Your Team Verified
Set-up is easy and takes 10-15 minutes

1. Click the Get My Team Verified button below. 

2. Sign up for NSID AS A COACH & choose a division for your team. 

3. Watch the pop-up video and follow prompts to create team.

4. On team page click Invite New Team Members. to send out invites. 
(To create player accounts yourself – Click Manage Team > Add/Verify Players)
